Why I Started This Blog

Hi, I am Naomi Botha and I would like to explain why I started this blog.

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My religion is the basis around which I live my life. As a matter of fact, my religion is who I am or a guidance of what I want to become.

I know many people would say that we are Mormons, and for some reason they do not believe we are Christians, which does not make sense to us, because, our Gospel is completely centered upon Christ. However, since we know what we believe, we do not need to cause contention due to what others believe about us, but this is not what this blog is about.

This blog is about us as women and our totally complex lives and responsibilities, it is about the beauty of womanhood and what makes it so magical. This blog is what I treasure most in my life, and that is being a woman and having the blessing of procreating and being an equal partner to my husband and being able to become one with him (In purpose).

Now, in an ideal world, all women will find a wonderful husband and have lots of good children, but life is not that simple, life is complex. A lot of women who want to get married, don't find husbands. A lot of happily married wives want children, but are not able to have any. Many women have to pursue a career in order to look after their families due to unforeseen circumstances. However, the biggest reason for me starting this blog, is because it saddens me to see how women in today's life, try to take over the roles of men and seem to believe they do not need men and want to live their lives completely independent of men.

It saddens me to see women becoming lesbian and men becoming gay. It saddens me even more that society is making it to be something normal. I know by saying it, that I am stepping on a lot of toes, but honestly, I know where I come from, I know I am a child of God and I know, that it is not His plan for any one of us. I do not have anything against guys and lesbians, most of them are wonderful people, but I have something against the sin against nature that they are committing. They can still repent of those sins and follow God's plan, and that is the great thing about what Christ teaches us and why He died for our sins.

It saddens me to see men and women not believing in marriage. I know that it is a hard thing to do, since you probably have seen a lot of friends and family get divorced. You could most probably come from a broken family. I have seen plenty of unhappy and broken marriages in my life. This made me pray even harder to find the right husband, not to marry just anyone, but someone that will compliment me and that I could spend eternity with. And that is exactly what I found in my life, so I just want to say to those women who have lost faith in marriage, that, for anything in life that is worth while, there is a price to pay. Nothing of great value comes free. You will have to work for it and be patient for it.

This is my way of speaking to all those women who are living a life without cause, who are competing with men, because they feel if they don't, they will be seen as inferior to them or less successful. This is my way of letting the women out there know that we are better than that. We have a greatness that is uncomprehendable, but we need to live the kind of life that will show that greatness to the world.

We are daughters of a loving Heavenly Father, who loves us dearly and want us to be successful and happy in this life. We need to realise that Satan is just as real as God is, and that he is out to destroy us. All these things I mentioned earlier are Satan's ways to break up families, to interfere with God's plan. We have to decide, which side we are on.

Thank you for your time in reading this.
